Rules For The Last Night in Nashville
1. Avoid Jameson. Sure you’ve been friends for years but lets face it that guys a bastard and he doesn’t give a shit about you.
2. No matter what happens do not tell people that you’ve got their back.
3. Assume that everyone is packing heat because they probably are.
4. Avoid Karaoke. You are not a singer.
5. Get back to the hotel by at least 2 AM don’t forget...
My 3 weeks in Nashville come to and end this...
It feels like I’ve been here for a very long time. This hotel room is actually starting to feel like my home which is kinda weird. I’ve met lots of cool folks many of which I will never see again which is surprisingly sad.

Things I've learned in Tennessee so far.
1. The lady I’m working with for 3 weeks straight is crazy. At first I was like whatever. Now I’m like oh shit I’m spending 3 weeks with a crazy person
2. Apparently you can’t buy liquor in Tennessee grocery stores which sucks cause its just like Kansas.

(Bad?) Habit of writing in cursive most of the time. I try to keep it legible. It’s been so long, I think I’ve forgotten how to print, or at least I’ve lost my old handwriting. Pencils and pens are cool. Not sure which currently holds first place in my mind.
Things I Learned Today At The New Job
1. I will be going to Nashville, Tennessee on January 10th and will not return until the 22nd. I will then leave on the 24th and return again on the 28th.
2. I will need many many more neck snakes (ties) dress shirts, and suits, and probably a second pair of dress shoes.
3. I should probably get some kind of dressy hat.

I start my "job" tomorrow.
I’ve gotta be in the office by 8AM. The office is in Fairway, KS. I live in South Kansas City, MO. It’s roughly a 20 minute drive if traffic cooperates. My days will be starting at 6:30 AM.
